به گفته مدیر عامل شرکت سرمایه‌گذاری شهر، شرکت بهره‌برداری مترو برای خرید تجهیزات مربوطه، سفارشی به مبلغ ۲۰۰ میلیارد تومان ثبت کرده است.
هادی علیرضایی اظهار کرد: «علی‌رغم اینکه در دو سال و نیم گذشته به دلیل تحریم‌ها و شرایط کلان اقتصاد کشور، فعالیت‌های شرکت سرمایه‌گذاری شهر توقف داشته، با این حال با تغییر مدیریت شرکت و تغییر رویکرد در سه ماهه چهارم سال ۱۳۹۹ تلاش‌های مستمر برای پویایی دوباره شرکت انجام و منجر به بستر سازی امضا تفاهم‌نامه با سازمان آتش‌نشانی، شرکت مترو و شرکت کنترل کیفیت هوا شد.»
در سال ۱۴۰۰ هم تفاهم‌نامه‌هایی به ارزش ۳۵۰ میلیارد تومان امضا شد.
وی افزود: «شرکت بهره‌برداری مترو، سفارشی به ارزش ۲۰۰ میلیارد تومان برای خرید تجهیزات مختلف مانند سیگنالینگ ناوگان، برق، تأسیسات و مخابرات ثبت کرده است تا خرید این تجهیزات از سوی شرکت سرمایه‌گذاری شهر انجام شود که بخشی از آن به مناقصه عمومی گذاشته شده است.»
مدیرعامل شرکت سرمایه‌گذاری شهر با بیان اینکه عمده فعالیت و تمرکز اصلی این شرکت واردات تجهیزات خارجی بر اساس دستورالعمل‌ها است، افزود:
«دلیل انجام سفارش‌های خارجی از سوی شرکت سرمایه‌گذاری شهر دارا بودن کارت شناور بازرگانی است و عمده فعالیتش از گذشته تا کنون واردات اتوبوس، نردبان و بالابرهای بلند آتش‌نشانی و تجهیزات و دستگاه‌های جدیدی که بعد از پلاسکو وارد شده است.»
علیرضایی با اشاره به چالش‌های پیش روی شرکت متبوعش خاطرنشان کرد: «به دلیل اینکه تمرکز این شرکت بر خریدهای خارجی است، مهم‌ترین مسئله هم نوسانات نرخ ارز است که مناقصه‌ها باید با لحاظ این نوسانات انجام شود.»
به گزارش سایت شهر وی پیش‌تر، از انجام مناقصه عمومی ۵۰۰ عدد چرخ واگن‌های دو طبقه و همچنین برگزاری مناقصه ۱۵۰۰ عدد چرخ انواع قطارها در آینده نزدیک خبر داده بود.
